Call for Papers
Slovak Economic Association Meeting (SEAM 2018)
in cooperation with the Comenius University in Bratislava
Bratislava, September 21–22, 2018
The Slovak Economic Association (SEA) is soliciting papers for its 2018 annual conference, to be held at the Faculty of Management, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, September 21–22, 2018. This year’s edition commemorates the 100th anniversary of the creation of Czechoslovakia, 25th anniversary of Slovakia’s independence, and 25th anniversary of the creation of the Slovak koruna. Research papers from all fields of economics are welcome.

Submission Procedure:
Please submit a draft paper or an extended abstract in pdf-format by June 15, 2018 HERE. Decisions about acceptance will be communicated by July 15, 2018. The conference will be held in English. Proposals for complete sessions dedicated to specific topics are also welcome.
SEA Award for Young Economists:
The Slovak Economic Association will award a prize of 500 EUR to the best paper authored by economist(s) up to 35 years of age. In case of joint papers, all co-authors have to fulfil this condition. Only papers presented at the conference will be considered for the Award. Authors who wish to be considered for the SEA Award for Young Economists must indicate this in the submission process.
Registration:
The participation fee is € 100. The conference fee will be reduced to € 50 for members of the Slovak Economic Association and waived for PhD students and institutional members.
Passive Participation:
You are welcome to attend the conference as a non-presenting participant. In this case you can still take part in our scientific and social program, without presenting your own research. Please register HERE. The organizers reserve the right to restrict the number of participants due to capacity constraints.
