The joint meeting of the Slovak Economic Association (SEA) and the Austrian Economic Association (NOeG) is to be held at the University of Economics, Bratislava, Slovakia on May 27–28, 2016.

About the organizers:

The Slovak Economic Association (SEA) is a scientific and professional society of economists. It is a non-profit organization, with the objective of developing and promoting theoretical and applied research in economic sciences. It supports the advancement of economic education in Slovakia with emphasis on promoting young economic talents.

The Austrian Economic Association (NOeG) is a non-profit society with the objective of promoting scientific progress in the field of the theoretical and applied economic sciencies. In the field of the applied economic sciencies, the independent and objective analysis of the economic performance of the Austrian economy is a main goal of the NOeG.

University of Economics in Bratislava (UEBA). UEBA was established in 1940, and is historically the first Higher Education Institution focused on Economics, Business and Management studies in Slovakia. In academic year 2015/2016 university celebrated its 75th anniversary.

The Department of Economics at the University of Vienna is highly international and research-oriented. Science prospers in an open intellectual climate and in a fruitful dialogue between theory and empirics.
